| Ludwig Catalogs on 2 CD-Roms (25+
Catalogs)
"You are doing Ludwig a great service by all this work on the company's
history."...Jim Catalano, Marketing Manager - Ludwig Drum Company
In order to offer this huge collection of vintage Ludwig and WFL catalogs at
a better price point I am now providing the collection on 2 CD-Rom
disks. Just the 60s collection on CD would have cost you almost $50. You can buy this entire collection
(which took a year of my life to scan and clean-up) for $24.99. Here's what's included in this huge collection.
1922 Ludwig & Ludwig - New Addition.
1923 Ludwig & Ludwig - New Addition.
1937 WFL - The first catalog issued by the William F. Ludwig Drum
Company, even before they started calling it WFL.
1939 WFL - The first regular WFL catalog. Front cover featured Ray
Bauduc.
1949 WFL - Great late 40s catalog featuring Buddy Rich on the cover.
1951 WFL - Nice cover showing the Damen Ave factory.
1955 WFL - Buddy Rich appears in the corner of the cover.
1957 WFL - Transition catalog from WFL to Ludwig Drum Company.
1960 Ludwig - The Super Ludwig (Supra-Phonic) makes its debut along with
Oyster Pink Pearl.
1962 Ludwig - The Super-Sensitive makes its debut along with Galaxy
Pearl.
1963 Ludwig Supplement Catalog - New Addition.
1964 Ludwig - Lots of pictures of Joe Morello.
1967 Ludwig - The year of Sparkling Burgundy Pearl.
1969 Ludwig Standard Catalog - see all the groovy colors from this unique
short-lived line of drums.

to mention Black Panther.
1973 Ludwig - Quadra-Plus and Octa-Plus, silk and wood cortex finishes
arrive.
1975 Ludwig - First full catalog to feature the Vistalite line.
1975 Vistalite Flyer - New Addition.

Vistalites, Stainless Steel kit, and much more.
1979 Ludwig Marching - Marching percussion and accessories, very cool
cover.
1980 Ludwig - The year of the Tivoli Vistalites
1981 Ludwig The Setup - New Addition.
1982 Ludwig - New Addition.
1984 Ludwig - New Addition.
1988 Ludwig - New Addition.
Though we're only showing the front cover of each of these catalogs,
every page of each catalog is present and accounted for in beautiful color
and detail. The catalogs can even be printed out on paper using your own
color printer. You'll be amazed at how good these pages look on your PC
monitor and the images can be zoomed up to 6 or 7 times what you see here in
this ad. The detail is incredible. The images are stored as Adobe Acrobat
PDF files. We are not including the individual JPEGs with this collection
due to the huge size of the files (they wouldn't fit on 2 CDs). We
are also only including the original scans (graffiti and all) not the
digitally cleaned (airbrushed) versions that the individual catalog CDs
featured. Again...something had to go to fit these all on 2 CDs. If
you are interested in vintage Ludwig catalogs but just can't justify the
$200.00+ price tag for each original catalog then bid now. The catalogs in
this collection would cost you $$ thousands to purchase the originals (I
personally have spent that in order to bring this fabulous collection to
you). The price for this collection is only $24.99. I guarantee you I
will not be offering these for less in the near future. Too much work went into
creating them. I am also throwing in William F Ludwig's, 'My Life at
the Drums' (his life story).
Here's what people are saying about our Ludwig catalogs on CD:
"...awesome! Great job...Great work. I will be ordering the rest of your
CD's. I own Rio Grande Drum Company. I know a lot of drum collectors and
will send you customers. Thanks for your hard work."...Roger Shirley of the
Rio Grande Drum Company
"I have been through the CD on all systems and in fact just last night
completed printing it out on Photo Paper using the PDF files all 68 pages
for easy reference. I found no problems and congratulate you on a fine
product which I hope sells well for you"....Len Howe of classicdrums.com.
"Man, you did a GREAT work! After seeing the results I must admit I was
right when I told you somebody HAS to do it to preserve these beautiful
catalogs and give everybody the opportunity to see how the things were
yesterday at an affordable price today. You're the one! "...Paolo Sburlati -
Author of 'Ludwig - Yesterday and Today'.
