My name is Rick Moore and I live in Holiday Florida.
I've been a
Ludwig player since 1983 when I bought my first real kit, a Ludwig
smoke-black vistalite Octa-plus set. I've been in several rock cover
bands over the years and have always been complimented on my Ludwig
sets. The kit pictured is the largest of my 3 Stainless Steel kits. It
was manufactured in 1979 and I am it's 2nd owner. I paid $600 for the
drums-only in 1993 and have since put an additional $2,000 into
refurbishing them. The cymbals are all 80's-vintage Zildjian Platinums.
I am married with 2 children and one in college so I'm not as active on
the circuit as I used to be, but I still like to take the old "SS's" out
for a spin a couple of times a year. I enjoy the site and the
camaraderie of other Ludwig players. We are truly a rare breed. |
