Ron Dennell

My name is Ronald John Dennell.  I have been playing professionally for over 25 years.  I am an active teacher of the percussive arts.  I studied under the great Joe Pasco where I learned the true art of BOP drumming.  I have been involved in many Dixie-Land type bands as well as some Rock bands too.  I currently am enjoying doing theatre pit band work for plays.

I have been a collector of Ludwig drums since I was in my teens.  My first set was a 1979 WMP Super Classic Buddy Rich outfit which I bought brand new and still own to this day.  My favorite Ludwig colors are (in this order), Psych Red, Galaxy Sparkle, WMP, Black Diamond, Blue Sparkle, Red Sparkle, Burgundy Sparkle, etc.

My current collection ranges ranges well over 100 sets with more than 50 being Luddies.  My goal is to have exactly 100 Ludwig sets spanning all the decades of Ludwig's manufacturing.  Please feel free to contact me anytime if ya wanna talk Ludwig!
