Other Ludwig Drummers Kevin Ronkko
Kevin Ronkko lives in Dover, New
Hampshire, USA. He is married. His wife is Kelly, and his Maine Coon
cat is named Haze. Having played his butcher block oversized Ludwig Drums
for more than 22 years, Kevin is a songsmith, and prefers working with other
writers of original music. Kevin began playing Ludwig drums over 22 years
ago, at the age of 12. Ludwig drums and Zildjian cymbals were his first
love. His study with the great Dick Demers of Lewiston, ME. created the
control and foundation that Kevin needed to enjoy playing. With Ludwig
drums, Kevin has had many high profile gigs. With the Impalas, a rock
group from Maine, he performed for over 40,000 people for a Fourth of July
celebration. He also recorded a well received solo drumming recording
titled Roots Rock Percussion in 1996 on Ludwig drums. Kevin has recently
been gigging as a soloist on guitar, to develop his singing ability, but Ludwig
drums will always be Kevin's baby grand. Kevin currently teaches drumset to some
new up and coming talented drummers.
